Windows Validation Problem
After 2 years of no problems with my Pentium 4 Dimension hardware or software, yesterday I suddenly got the message that my version of Windows XP is not valid! Not true, I got it from Dell.
I had been making a fairly long movie (Windows Movie Maker) before it happened and I had done a couple of reboots to quicken up the system and a disc clean, which took some time.
Any ideas?
A 'Restore' to yesterday cleared up the problem but it bothers me. When will it happen again?

RogerHLM,
Had the same thing happen to me about a year ago. Fortunately, I keep copies of the WPA.DBL and WPA.BAK files. You can download the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool. It is available here: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 May shed some light on what happened.
When will it happen again? I have no idea.
