Since the last software update, the pointer randomly turns to a circle as if thinking and does not allow clicking. It seems to happen randomly but only when hovering over the bottom of the screen and it nevers turns back to pointer. It happens when using chrome. 

I am also getting a sort of shadow (see attached screenshot) when I hover wihin the shadow the pointer goes into a circle. Has anyone found a similar problem?
