XPS 15 9570 Overheating
Help!
I dropped my phone on the left edge of the keyboard a day or 2 ago, between where the tab key is and the charger. The fan (I'm assuming) began to make a horrible noise and I immediately shut off the computer. After restarting it seemed to be back to normal, with maybe a slightly different sound. The laptop seemed marginally hotter but nothing serious.
When I came home from work today I found that the computer had crashed, and after restarting it is very hot. I have HWMonitor on my computer which tells me heat, and it has been all over the place between 145 and 200 F while I have nothing open.
Is this a fan problem? Should I open up the laptop and try to troubleshoot? I don't want to take it to a chop shop... I have
