I was wondering if Dell were still offering replacements of swelling XPS 9550 batteries, as mine has unfortunately swelled and made the trackpad unusable.
I believe that program has ended. Perhaps a moderator can offer additional information.
But in the meantime, remove the battery as soon as possible as it is a safety issue and dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
Otherwise, it could cause hundreds of dollars damage to your system at the least or completely ruin the system forcing you to buy another. Again...remove the battery ASAP.
