Hi. Is anyone out there from dell representatives can tell me what is going on with my 9570 craptop? I am so much fed up with it you can not believe..... It started 3 years ago that I bought my first 9550 XPS. It looked cool and had promising hardware and 4k screen was amazing. But I have already made a post before about speakers burning on that model. Still I liked it and had to replace speakers by myself 2 times because they always burnt. I had a chance to sell that laptop and upgraded then to 9560. I know i complained much about 9550 but still went for XPS because it had 4k screen and was same good looking and affordable. 9560 stayed with me for 1 year and later on I sold it and again did a very big mistake because of the look and the screen - I bought 9570. All those laptops don't have good thermal design. Everyone knows about it even in Dell itself. So when I had 9550 it stayed quiet most of the time and only at a bit more load the fans started to spin and stopped as soon as it cooled down. 9560 was more hot and fans were more often spinning. Now this 9570 is simply a total DISASTER!!!!! Few months ago it was OK. It got hot under some big loads but was ok. One week ago I dont know what is happening to this ...... but with my opera open only or without any other applications running and my CPU load is <3% my IDLE temperature is 58 - 63 Celsius. And this is only OPERA running. I thought maybe something using my CPU but no, according to task manager there is no CPU usage only randomly up to 3%. So I re-pasted it with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and guess what? nothing changed. Same temperature. Moreover as I close the lid and comeback after some time to open the laptop it is veeeeeeery hot underneath and as I open it I check the temperature straight away and it is 80 - 90 % just after waking up from sleep. As I open AIDA64 system stability test it says straight away without any testing that I have CPU throttling and as I start the test the throttling is 18+%. I re-pasted it second time and same ......... I can not run anything on this laptop because on IDLE temperature is 60+ up to 80 degrees for no reason. Fans are always on, ALWAYS, even when I unplug it and turn on battery saving mode hoping to decrease CPU speed and power consumption it still same temperature 24/7 fans are ON. I reinstalled windows , updated all drivers, remover some unwanted software, have latest bios. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS LAPTOP?????? no, the right question is - WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE DELL ENGINEERS THAT THEY CAN NOT DESIGN PROPERLY THE XPS LAPTOP????? I like the style I like the screen and the touchpad and the keyboard but in 9570 they used some GOODIX fingerprint sensor that is DISASTER and hardly recognizes my fingerprints unlike in 9560 was synaptics fingerprint sensor, never missed. all those 3 models 9550, 9560, 9570 have bad speakers that DIE or BURN and start to RATTLE when at high volume and then stop working and I have to replace them. All three models I replaced 1 or 2 times the cheap Chinese bad quality speakers. And the worst thing is the thermals. If I designed the laptop I would make it proper way. And it is possible to do so there is enough space inside to keep the same style but to reorganize all the components and to put proper fans and heat pipes and be proud of your products!!! Are you proud of your TOP of the line XPS Laptops???? Shame on you for such a money to make such a bad laptop.
