Alienware Aurora /R16-ACT1250

Hello Dell Technologies Team,

I would like to know if Dell plans to release an updated version of the Alienware R16 (ACT1250).

There are a few design changes I would like to see in a future update:

• I would prefer the front I/O ports to be relocated to the top of the case for easier access.

• I would like the side panel to use clear tempered glass without the honeycomb ("beehive") pattern. The current design makes it difficult to clearly view the internal components, including the graphics card logo.

• I would also like to see support for an AMD-based configuration with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card.

I am writing regarding your new Alienware Area-51 (AMD) desktop system.

I currently have a custom configuration saved in my Dell cart totaling $6,748.13, which includes a $1,300.00 savings, estimated tax, free shipping, Dell Rewards, and a one-year accidental damage protection plan. I have screenshots of my full custom-build configuration available upon request.

This purchase is a significant financial commitment, and I wanted to respectfully ask if there may be any additional discounts or alternative savings options available.

At this time, I am not working and am physically disabled, which makes the current pricing difficult. I have also noticed that prices for high-end systems continue to rise substantially.

@rd6520012​  This is a used to user volunteer forum.  It doesn't go to the technologies team or the order dept.  Sometimes moderation will escalate a post or thread depending on a person's or people's problem(s). Us volunteers don't have access to the Dell Technologies Team or the order dept. Best bet is if you have questions about your order is to contact sales.

@rd6520012​  If you're looking for a discount or lower price, besides contacting sales, you might consider a different model that can also take the RTX 5090.  Sales can guide you thru different options. Buying refurb instead of new also gets the price down.
