Alienware subpar quality
I am very disappointed in the quality of Alienware desktop computers. It's fairly obvious that their motherboards, cooling system human graphics cards are all lower specs compared to computer parts you can buy yourself. On top of that the prices are about double but you can expect to pay on the market to build a computer yourself. I have a Alienware R13 with no instructions anywhere online how to clean it even the guy that took it apart he broke one of the hinges. For a company that makes over $100 billion a year don't nearly offer the service level to match the prices that you charge. You are obviously not trying to be apple because you can never match their level of service but not even 50%. Alienware who once stood for high quality but today it just stands for LED color lights that every manufacturer offers often give me a better quality for a lesser price. I'm very dissatisfied and I want to hear from other people that have had their family were desktop plastic hinges break.

I'm not sure what an Alienware R13 is? ... you mean Aurora-R13 desktop?
Comparing to the rest of the Dell models (including Precision Workstations) ... with Alienwares, you uniquely get:
iQue-like control of not only LEDs, but also FANS .
Liquid-Cooling for CPU
Largest Power-Supplies available for any Dell
The nice desktop Nvidia mainstream video-cards
Un-locked processors and XMP Ram (but I don't really mess with OC-ing)
Then you get into the other hardware available across the higher-end offerings (4x4 [or better] NVMe SSDs, etc.)
All these computers now-days are fairly delicate (but people like cheap). Back in 2010, the Dell-Alienwares were built like tanks (fairly heavy and expensive).
Sorry your thing got broken. Maybe use the PDF Service-Manual next time. If you upload a pic of the part, we can probably get you a DPN and you can order a new one.

So your massive big paragraph just basically means order a Newport how about you guys send me the part because you decided to use cheap support Lego plastic instead of using metal hinges for the entire case part of it obviously has metal and just but you decide to also use plastic for other parts. Everyone that knows anything about computers knows that for half the price of what you sell a computer they can put together a better motherboard, I better graphic card and almost better everything. Coolermaster sales computer cases for $39 on Amazon with 18,000 positive reviews so no we don't live in the stone ages where we just feed you cash and you give us plastic junk how about stand behind your product for once and send at least the replacement part for free. I'm going to be emailing your board of directors and making videos online about this to raise awareness because this is unacceptable for the amount of money you charge for your products look how competitive brands in the clothing industry arcteryx, Patagonia they take 15 to 20 year old torn clothing and give you a store credit. Mean while your company tries to nickel dime every little last sent out of every customer. You will never be apple because your customers come last and profits always come first.

Well, LEGO plastic is actually pretty good. Have you ever seen a broken LEGO piece (I never have).
I guess you missed the part about me not working for Dell. My last two Intel-i9/Nvidia desktops were Origin-PCs. However, I still have my Aurora-R1 and Aurora-R6 and use them both all the time. Yes, I have had them apart, and no, I've never actually broke anything on them (but I'm pretty careful with delicate things).
Yeah, I have an old $50 CoolerMaster case (with Corsair PS). It has an Intel Core-2-Quad in it and used to be my Kodi-box. I liked all the drive-bays ... before I got my Synology NAS years ago. So, yeah ... it's fine but not as pretty as the alien-technology build of the Auroras.

1. Your chosen username was in violation of the Forum Code of Conduct and changed.
2. You stated on the Alienware Desktops board,
"Alienware desktop computers"
"even the guy that took it apart he broke one of the hinges"
"using metal hinges"
Hinges would be on Alienware Laptops, not Alienware Desktops?
So are you referring to a 13" Alienware Laptop (13 R1 2014/13 R2 2015/13 R3 2016) or the Alienware Desktop Aurora R13 2022?

I'd blame the hinge breaking on the computer shop.
