Aurora ACT1250, Ethernet keep dropping
The ethernet on my new ACT1250 periodically disconnects once or twice per day. Things I've tried so far:
- Hard resetting our router/modem (no other devices are having issues)
- Replacing ethernet cable
- Uninstalling Killer Intelligence Center, reinstalling it and playing with settings, uninstalling it again
- Clean install of Killer E3100G 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver
- Disabling "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting on the ethernet controller
- Uninstalling Dell Support Assist
And I'm sure there's more that I can't remember. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

If pc is on from early am to late pm all the time, assuming OP is using it most of the time, does Ethernet drop at random 1-2 points early on then stay steady throughout rest of day, or is it the other way around (steady for most of day but drops off 1-2 times towards end of day)?

It seems truly random. I've had it drop in the middle of the work day, and also at the end of a day while gaming before bed.
The immediate fix, which I realize I should have mentioned in my original post, is always to unplug the cable from the back of the PC and plug it in again. Fixes it right away as soon as it reconnects.

Did you replace Ethernet cable with a brand new one or just another cable you find in house?
Try a brand new Cat 6 cable if not already done
Try a different Ethernet port on your router or even better, try a different router.

@redxps630 So I did only have Cat 5 cables. Overnighted a Cat 6, replaced it earlier today, and still had the same drop issue occur.

@redxps630
Should have mentioned, I did try that when I switched out the ethernet cables, didn't work.

From my notes (this is the shorter set).
I still have an old Aurora-R6 with Killer-Networks e2400 Gigabit Wired-Ethernet. I haven't had a problem with the wired ethernet card/device in years. Currently, it's running Windows-11 Pro.
---------------------
In Control-Panel / Programs and Features
and/or
Settings / Apps / Apps & Features
Properly uninstall anything related to:
- Intel Killer Performance Suite (Performance Killer)
- Killer Networking (Rivet, xTend, etc.) Killer of Networking
- Dell Optimizer (Network de-Optimizer)
- Express-Connect
- SmartByte
In Control Panel / Device-Manager
- Delete the Wireless-WiFi device
Reboot computer..
On next start, Windows should auto-detect the WiFi mini-card and load appropriate (nice lean/basic/fast) drivers.
Repeat process for Wired Ethernet device.
Test operation.
Basically, DO NOT load or install any "Dell Drivers" ... just use the network-drivers offered to you from Windows-Update.

@Tesla1856 Tried all of this, and after a few days with no drops, it did it again last night and today.

@scottman586 ,
Since both are "Killer of Networking" on-board NICs, the troubleshooting and tips I posted here apply to you as well.

This is happening to me as well - basically same issue.
I've noticed it seems fine after a restart, but if I let my computer sleep and start up a few times, it starts to become more unstable. Not sure if this solved it yet but so far shutting down each night is helping, and shutting off SLEEP timer.
