Aurora desktops, where assembled?
Are they assembled in the USA? One would think they are assembled in South Miami at their headquarters. I’ve driven past there SR 826 many times when visiting Miami. Alienware laptops probably are assembled in China, I presume.

Dell countries of Origin are Korea, China, Mexico, etc. There are no Factory / Assembly plants in the USA.
Which is why EVERY box I have from dell says made in china or Korea or mexico etc. Most of the boxes say made in china.

My Aurora-R6 was built in Mexico.
Not sure about the Aurora-R1, but I remember that support was out-of Costa Rica back then.

They are likely manufactured based on your location. I would think for North America it would be different than for Europe, or Asia, etc...

I completely disagree because Items imported to the USA require country of origin label. You cannot make blanket statement that ALL of anything for Dell comes from any given country. Most all computer parts like CPU etc come from TSMC, Taiwan, China, etc. The term made is quite loose. If there was a single source for all dell parts then COVID in china would not have been an issue. Europe has ROHS which means rules for parts is more restrictive than in the USA etc. Foxconn is based in Taiwan and China not poland.
China is the most common. Mexico happens because of the NAFTA trade agreement. Which is why Canada is also a source of parts for the USA market. Mexico is more common because like china labor costs are lower than Canada for example.
DELL PRODUCTS (POLAND) SP Z O O is located in Łódź, łódzkie, Poland and is part of the Computer and Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing Industry. DELL PRODUCTS (POLAND) SP Z O O has approximately 850 employees at this location.

Unless Dell has a really weird routing system that has them sending fully assembled R13's made from Chinese parts from Poland to a Factory in China that then further assembles them before they are imported into Australia, I will take a punt, and guess mine was built in China. Serious head on Alienware PCs are built in China or Taiwan, there are different rules across the globe though so final assembly, i.e. fitting memory etc may be carried out locally.

I'm expecting an R10 in the next few days. It is currently in the Production stage. Will the packing list or invoice show where it was assembled?

My R10 box said made in Mexico. The AMD and Nvidia chips were probably made in Taiwan.

Import and export rules in USA,EU, EMEA, China etc are very specific. PPID and box marking rules as well as a sticker or label on the unit itself is REQUIRED BY LAW.
ppid-piece-part-identification
Every Dell PPID number contains five separate sets of information for a total of 20-digits.
KR = Korea
MX = Mexico
CN = China

Hiya speedstep,
Thanks for response, but calm down and let me explain something. I do know all parts coming from China and Taiwan, and they are shipped to the main assembling factory in Poland.
I worked as a engineer at Meyn Poultry Solutions, Oostzaan, The Netherlands and funny to see is that this company use the same philosophy as Dell. Pre- fabric parts or main frames are shipped to our country to assembly final and then shipped to any country worldwide....from the Netherlands. The most machines are fully assembled in Poland because its cheaper as we all know, so what i try to say is that all parts from second brands are shipped to Poland and from thereout it shipped to whatever country, if you agree or not, or dont like it, thats the way it goes nowadays.

hiya PhantomSGP,
Weird...can you show me a picture or give me a website where your R13 was assembled? I'm pretty sure Dell has no Factory for final assembly in China...
