Aurora R13, PCIe x4 slot not working?

So, this is following up on the Elgato 4K60 mk.2 capture card not showing up when installed on the top x4 PCIe slot.  Been troubleshooting this with Elgato and at this point they haven't been able to find a reason it why it isn't working in the R13.

I finally fished out my NVME PCIe adapter, put a working NVME m.2 drive on it, and that isn't showing up at all either.  It's getting power, just as the Elgato card did, but isn't showing up as it does in the other system (same with the Elgato).

I'm on the latest 1.08 bios and I don't see any options to manage the PCIe slots.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do we have any responses From Dell, this isn't like out of stock items this is a major product defect that can be fixed with a corrected BIOS patch if the Engineer are actually looking into this issue. Course the other reality is that Dell is again being deceptive and lying to us and nothing is being worked on at all.

@Wesleyg1 I believe @F34R mentioned that Dell has acknowledge there is an issue, and they are investigating. However, that is all that has been said and we are all waiting for any updates

I inquired and the latest news is the team is still working on the Elgato card.

I conveyed there's also other cards that do not work. If you have other cards that do not work feel free to report in this thread what card and what slot, so I can provide that information to the Alienware team.

It sounds to me like they are just looking at the Elgato card, but it looks to me like multiple other cards do not work either based on the various postings in this thread.

As far as I know, it's not about the Elgato card, and that's not specifically what they are working on.  They found an issue with the x4 ports, both of them, so they are working on the issues with the ports.  Whatever the fix is, should fix any issues with any x4 compatible cards.

Top Kek , theres literary no card working on these slots, not only the "eLGaTo".

I tried d a bunch of cards.

Just enable it , fix it or replace it.

Otherwise its just false advertising.

As I've stated earlier, and relayed this info to the support teams, no cards are working in the x4 slots we're talking about.

I get that, but it looks like they are only working on the Elgato card and waiting on Elgato to get back to them.

I am trying to convince them to try a SB Z card for testing, as that was reported as not working in this thread. I know that card works in my R10. I would be easy to test and it does have a red glowing light to indicate if the card is even getting power or not. I think it is the perfect card to test.

That doesn't make sense.  Either way, Elgato bought an R13 like mine to test their card.  I wonder what the hold up is.  It obviously doesn't have anything to do with the Elgato card.  Simple pcie to nvme adapter cards don't work, plus the cards others have mentioned in this thread.

Hey Victor, you would have to contact @DELL-Chris M .  If you contact him I am sure he can explain what we know so far.

I know nothing special, besides that they are working on the Elgato card. That's about all I know about this issue.

I don't have an R13, so I cannot test anything out myself.

@DELL-Chris M   Can you give us an update please?  Why working on the Elgato card?  No other cards are working in the x4 slots, so there's obviously a problem on that end.
