Aurora R15, audio problems

Hi folks. Since day one I've been having audio problems with this new PC. Any audio I play whether or not it be via a Bose USB speaker system, an Alienware Tri-Mode wireless gaming headset connected via Bluetooth or the bespoke USB dongle or directly connected to the back panel audio output jack results in the audio occasionally being interrupted via a short period of silence and the audio then picks back up again. This happens when streaming from the internet or using a program such as JRiver MC or VLC media player. All drivers are the latest available from Dell and Window 11 is up to date as well.

Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks for your thoughts.

Try uninstalling Dell Support Assist. This is known to cause issues from time to time.

@Vanadiel I tried your suggestion but got no improvement.  The interruption in sound sounds like a high frequency buzzing/stutter that lasts for about half a second and then normal sound resumes.  Because it happens when I am using the Realtek audio output, USB audio or even Bluetooth is confounding to me.  I wonder if there's something going on in Windows 11?  I may try playing with generic audio drivers if that's even possible with Win11.

@jkeifer3 are you gaming? do you possible have a feedback issue > for example gaming headset accidently being turned on or off with a game that has open mic and then idk you have a big microphone for podcasting or something along those lines. I'm just spit balling here.
