Aurora R3, modded A07 Bios?
Does anyone have the modded A07 Bios for the Aurora R3 which enables support for uefi, and upgrades the raid controller. If so, would you mind sending it to me!
Thanks!!

I've never seen it.
I decided it was a joke or vapor-ware.
Why do you think you need it?

Oh.
Well, I've never seen UEFI added to a machine (that never had it before) by a late BIOS update. That's one of the reasons I think this fabled BIOS update was a joke.
I don't think Nvidia cards (GTX-1050/1060/1070/1080 or TI versions) have this problem.

Have a working R3 running on Win 10 version 1709. Still on the Radeon 6950 card. Not seen this BIOS either.
The main concerns around the R3 is its age, RAID strip is no longer working, processor liquid cooling probably need a replacement soon, etc. Thermals are still looking good with OC level 2 selected.
Warm restart still fails under Win 10 due to some of the old drivers. May sound like more trouble going forward. Not planning to update to version 1803.

I'm not seeing that on my Dell Vostro-460/XPS-8300 . IIRC, motherboard and chipset is very similar to Aurora-R3. Turning off the OC might help.

Different machine, but my Aurora-R1 still works fine. It is very loaded/upgraded/current. Disabling Windows Fast-Startup seems to help with MIO-Board initialization and Power-Mode detection (Off/On/Sleep/Wake).

The warm reboot issue is specific to the R3 and Win10 (and before that Win 8).

The problem re-emerges with subsequent Win 10 updates. The workaround is to shutdown and then power up the machine. Otherwise R3 runs Win 10 fine.

Yes, I remember the issue and that thread. That is why I just posted about recent experiences with the XPS-8300. I believe the issue can be cured.

The Aurora R3 has a buggy system BIOS that cannot cope with the hybrid vBIOS firmware on recent AMD Radeon cards. It is possible to modify the RX580 firmware to work with the aurora R3 (I've done it on an RX480 with the same issue) but hex editing the card firmware is risky, make a mistake and you can brick the card.
See this post on the win-raid forums for more details.
