Aurora R7, can GeForce RTX 3080 fit in or work?
Can GEFORCE RTX 3080 be fit in or work in my Alienware R7 ?
Processor i7 8700k Water Cooling.
16 GB ram 2666
Right now its 1080 8Gb graphic card.. so is that possible that RTX 3080 will work or not ? Fitting is different issue.

Probably not. It is 285mm long. Also, there is a back-side exhaust fan that is obstructed by the swing-out PSU contraption. At 320 watts, that would not be good.
Speaking specifically about the nVidia Founders Edition.

We have even more GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards in the works, including a handy Turbo design that exhausts hot air directly from cases. It’s perfect for small-form-factor builds or enclosures that can use a helping hand in keeping system temperatures in check. Stay tuned."

Yea, you will need to see what Nvidia's partners produce, for the Asus/Gigabyte turbo lineup, MSI aero lineup, and Zotac/PNY blower lineup. Those lineups are historically designed for SFF cases line the aurora and we know Asus has something planned.

I would hope so.. I plan on getting one. I have a 2080Ti now you just have to make sure you get the right size card. Basically the length is whats most important when I installed my 2080
And from the link posted by @r72019 I'll keep that handy when the time comes to sell mine and upgrade.

@22GREEN :
It's also time for you to ditch your LG OLED 4K. The 3090 demands you to game on 8K 60fps.

As an aside, as long as you have the 850W PSU option there shouldn't be any compatibility issues with it working. The only issue you would experience is finding the right dimension model that fits in the SFF case.

@TCJ8787 That should *just* provide enough space for the 3080.
If you are referring to the nVidia Founders Edition; even if you can squeeze the RTX 3080 into your chassis, the PSU swing-out contraption will be obstructing the exhaust air flow, which, for a 320 watt GPU, is not good.

I just measured my R7 and it looks like you can fit it if you replace the front case fan with a thinner aftermarket fan. there are fans online that are 15mm thick instead of 25mm thick.
Also you will want to remove the casing that the stock fan is in. i'm not really sure why they included that extra thick plastic casing.
That should *just* provide enough space for the 3080. I am going to order it and try. If it turns out to not fit, I'll just return and go with the 3070.

@TCJ8787 :
You should just sell it on the secondary market and make a killing.

True. However the ROG ones from the link in a previous have all downward facing fans, which would be compatible, assuming the length of the card stays at 11.2 inches.
Looking inside the case, there is an overhang of the PSU swing arm over the GPU, but not completely. Probably wouldn't be ideal. It seems the bigger issue restricting airflow above the GPU are all the cables. You really get no airflow above the card because of that.

Put a fan up there.

YIKES
In any case, I saw Zotac (perhaps others, that's just the one I found quickest) made a mini GTX 1080Ti, so fingers crossed they do the same with 3080
Found this link... the shortest ones listed are 294mm (11.6in) hmmmmm

I decided to rebuild my computer into a new case with the bigger PSU 850 is pretty much the bare minimum for a 3090 RTX so I'm going to go with a thousand or 1200 watt PSU put the bigger case and a custom Loop

This apparently is 274mm in length but waiting for INNO3d to confirm.
