I bought an Alienware Aroura R7 years back from dell and I am looking to do a clean install on my PC.

Recently I have been playing around with my PC trying to learn how things function and was working with removeing onedrive from being embedded in my system as I was doing some customizing and seperating of work and business accounts and domain names. I was aiming to completely remove onedrive and all files just to try and fix an issue with saving paths as I created a custom domain and it wasnt saving correctly. I ended up deleting some stuff I probably shouldnt have.

I am new to this so i do not have any recovery points saved from when i first got the pc and i dont want to use a current version of what i am running as a restore point. I just want to fresh install my pc.

I am worried about deleting how it operates as I have a ssd as a boot drive and then I am having another hard drive for files (SSD), I am also worried about losing programs that alienware supplies for things like lighting, performance setting, drivers fors and whatever for network adapters and stuff like that also is the windows activation key tied to something in my pc that i could delete and lose access to windows running? All my files are backed up on a flash drive or on google accounts.

What is my best bet for restoring this PC to factory settings? It would be nice to keep the programs that came with the pc like the dvd player and... well actually thats about it I think.

I just want a like new PC.

Lastly I am going to be upgrading my ram from a single stick of 16gb ram to dual sticks of 32gb ram for a total of 64gb ram on my pc and i was considering replacing my bootdrive from a 225gb ssd nvme to a 1tb ssd nvme and adding a 1tb ssd harddrive for extra storage would it be better to wait to do this comeplete reinstall until after i have installed all this hardware or can i do the install and then buy the components in incriments and replace them as i can afford them?

windows currently run fine however onedrive and office are having issues with saving as the destination path has been compromised which is a seperate issue i need to work on with microsoft as that was kind of their fault.

P.S. I know i can contact support and I will if necessary but I am curious to learn how this stuff works and would like to do it myself and know how it all works if possible
