Does dell sell 3090 OEM GPUs?
Talking to dell support today and was told that they indeed do sell their OEM cards as standalone but are currently out of stock not sure how true this is. I was given a date of august 10th and was told that their backend team confirmed it with them and should be in stock. If anyone has any info I’d appreciate it

Thanks for the reply, my question was more on the line if they sell these GPUs independently for consumers to buy themselves without having to do so by purchasing the prebuilt specifications.

it is a very slight chance, as Dell-Chris M said recently on 2/22/22 "The OEM RTX 3090 part number 869P4 does show as "not for sale" as a stand alone purchase. Why, because any that we do get from the manufacturer first go to whole system (Aurora R13, Aurora R14, XPS 8950) purchases in the queue."
I do not know the difference between the two oem 3090: Dell 869P4 for XPS88950/R13 and M8HMD for R12/11/10. I can try to find out and post in community later.
The former is very new that you cannot buy it as part, the latter may have a better chance as Dell is liquidating the stock of R12/11/10 and may have surplus of gpu at some point but no guarantee.
Dell-Chris M also said this in 2020 "Dell doesn't sell its custom card
both the 4Y12V Dell/MSI RTX 3080 and M8HMD Dell/MSI RTX 3090 both state For Sale: NO in the SPMD (Spare Parts Master Database)."
869P4 Nvidia/MSI RTX 3090, 24GB

They are incorrect about our external sales site selling our OEM video cards. Out there we sell retail video cards MSI, EVGA, etc.
If you have the Dell 5 digit part number for the OEM video card, example = (M8HMD = OEM MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X, 1.70GHz, Dual fans, DP/DP/DP/HDMI, Aurora R10/11/12
MSI vendor ID = 602-V388-03S)
You call Dell Spare Parts (USA 1-800-357-3355) and provide the 5 digit OEM part number and ask if it is available for sell.
M8HMD = OEM MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X, 1.70GHz, Dual fans, DP/DP/DP/HDMI, Aurora R10/11/12
MSI vendor ID = 602-V388-03S
869P4 = OEM MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X, 1.70GHz, Dual fans, DP/DP/DP/HDMI, Aurora R13/14, XPS 8950
MSI vendor ID = 602-V388D2-14S
