monitor display
I was messing around with the settings and I guess I changed the display adapter? As I did, my monitor shut off and went into power saving mode. I tried to reboot the system. The system rebooted but the monitor went into power saving mode again. I used an HDMI cable to hook my tower up to my tv to try and fix the setting. Im pretty sure I did. The desktop monitor works, but as soon as I unplug the HDMI cable, it goes back into power saving mode

Why are you unplugging the HDMI cable if the monitor is working?
Most monitors will enter power saving if no connection is detected.
