Pricing / Order question

Not sure if this is a mistake or if I'm simply not understanding.  Can find no info anywhere.  I have ordered - its confirmed but not yet in production or shipped - and Alienware R10.  It says:     ITEM DESCRIPTION ITEM NUMBER QUANTITY UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE   Alienware Aurora R10 210-AYMB 1 $2167.74 $2167.74 Sub Total $2479.38 Shipping/Handling $0.00 Estimated Tax $144.78 Order Total $2624.16   How does it go from 2167.74 to 2624.16?  What is this subtotal?  I'm just confused and if anyone can help clarify this for me I'd appreciate it.

Nevermind. I figured it out. The subtotal is the lower price plus

You would have to ask Dell about that, this is a community forum.  But one thought, did you order something extra like premium support or an extended warranty with it?

When I customized the pc before ordering that wasn't an option, unfortunately.  Just double checked to see if I overlooked anything.

Thank you.  I don't think I ordered any special warranty or care...I'm not seeing that listed in the breakdown.  I've inquired with Dell so I'll see what they say.  For what I ordered the pricing seems right, though.

So, were you charged the order total or the unit price plus tax? I'm having the same issue and cant figure it out.
