VR Heatsink for R15-R16

I was checking the base R16 with the 500w PSU with the 4060TI, apparently these to no have VR Heatsinks installed and if upgrading to a 1k and above PSU you will get a warning that these are not installed on boot.  Does anyone have the part number for the VR Heatsinks used in the R15-R16? The earlier models have a different design.

Or if someone has a R15, could take a pic of the MB with the VR heatsinks with the PN visible "and readable" it would be much appreciated.

Answered my own question.

I spoke with Dell support and the part number is 6F5D4, not available at the moment for the public to purchase but will soon be made available in the Dell parts store.

They also confirmed that the RTX4060 systems with the 500w PSU do not come with those and upgrading the system beyond that you'll have to get the VR Heatsinks from them, no other heat sink from before the R16 model will fit apparently from what they said.

Know this is a new system out there but hope this helps anyone that has a base system and wants to upgrade in the future.

Never understood Dell's heatsink configurations. Looks like pending on the configuration you purchase, you get the $10 heat sinks, or not...

@redxps630 Thanks for the info, was wondering if you can make out the P/N on the R15 heatsink, I'm curious if the part numbers have changed with the R16.

If you can find photos of the correct heatsink, search and compare with photos of Dell VRM heatsinks for sale on Ebay. There could be different part numbers for another system model that uses compatible VRM heatsink.

For example, the HS for Dell Precision 3650 for use with processors over 100W is part # 7NPYV. But part # N1C1D used for Dell/Alienware R11, R12 is identical other than an extra relief cut into one of finned banks.

I wouldn't have known it but happened to be shown a 'promoted' Ebay listing for the Alienware heatsink and immediately noticed the similarity to the one I had for Precision 3650.

6F5D4 = Foxconn heatsink. Two per motherboard. Not for sale (XPS 8960, Aurora R15/R16)
