Alienware LightFx worked only once

Hello, I recently purchased an Alienware tactx keyboard and wanted to try the lightFx feature which changes the light while listening to music or playing games. Having failed after repeated attempts to make it work I finally gave up and suddenly while playing League of Legends the light started changing colours and also did while I was listening to music. After I restarted my computer it again stopped working.

Can someone help me fix this?

First off, can you please ensure that the "Go Dark" Option is not enabled on the application seated on the right of the taskbar?
Whenever you open the Alien Command Center, and you go the AlienFX tab. Is that tab still active?(If the answer is 'no'. What Operating System are you currently running on?).

I do not have the 'Go Dark' option enabled since it is grayed out and yes, the AlienxFx tab is active. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.

Right now I have two possible solutions for that.
The first one would be re-installing the Microsoft .Netframework and use the version on the link below.
As soon as you uninstall it and reboot the computer you will get an error message regarding the .Net Framework. Just disregard it and proceed to use the Web Installer.

If that doesn't help, I would. Flash/Re-Flash the BIOS  re-install the Alienware Command Center. Ensuring we delete the AlienFX folder that gets created under the 'My Documents' folder  *This is sometimes a hidden folder*

As they have told others use the one on the disk you got with the keyboard, and they can't guaranty it will work fully.

For non-Alienware system (ie basic Dell and especially others) for about the same money (and similar features) I think the Logitech G110 Lighted Gaming Keyboard is a better system match.

I waited to post this until we saw how your Dell support and results panned out.
