HDMI not working since ubuntu dual boot instalation
Hi ,
I just installed ubuntu in dual boot with windows, and now my hdmi isn't working anymore. Is there a link between this problem and the ubuntu installation?
I try the hdmi on two monitors and i get black screen on one, and on the other : no input signal.
If somebody have a solution for it please :)

We don’t support or recommend dual boot so I will suggest to troubleshoot under the original factory mode so we can determine if it’s a hardware or a software issue.

Hum, it's not software, i opened the computer and looked near of the hdmi port, and i saw that it miss one chipset. I see 3 little chipsets and one on the middle have been unsoldered ( maybe due to a shock, but i take really care of my computer so ... And a shock should not unsolder that .. ).
I'm not under warranty anymore ( i bought it 2 years ago with an 1 year guarrantee ) what can i do so? I'm a student so i can't afford a new graphic card :/

I will recommend you to take it to a repair shop so they can check it for you.
