I could be wrong but from my research, I would put a 70% probability that we will see both of those laptops come out in the next couple of weeks. If you have been waiting this long.....keep waiting.
Based on previous Alienware system releases, expect either the M11x R3, M14x, or the rumored M18x or all three to be released at or around the date of E3.
Alienware seems to at least try to release systems around CES, E3, etc...
I am just basing this 100% assumption on previous Alienware system releases, E3 is in June, which is relatively soon... I am just saying I would assume at least one of the three rumored systems would probably be first seen at E3.
No company is ever going to give exact details on releases for big ticket items like these because they still want you to buy the ones they still have in stock lol.

I disagree. First off Alienware shows the MX11 in limited quantity, and the sale does not run till July14. it's for 4 days. Next my local Best Buy says there waiting for the M11xr3 this month, that they have not had the M11Xr2 in stock for some time now.
First off, I'd rather go with your source on rev3's coming out this month! Second, I see where we are finding different information.
Once you start to customize your M11x, you can click "Discount Details" on the right, a window pops up. Each CPU "Starting Point" each has a different expiration date:
Core2Duo's $200 savings expires April 16th 2011
Core i5's $70 savings expires January 1 2012
Core i7's $310 savings expires July 14 2011
That is where I got my July 14th date. I didn't realize the dates were not the same. These dates seem very sporadic and I hope they are irrelevant to the release of the rev3.
Well the original anticipation was that the R3 would come out in early April... we are now in mid-April so we still have a shot at this month!
Keep in mind I never said the R3 would be coming out in June, I am just saying with three new Alienware laptops expected to be coming out soon, one would assume that at least one of them would be released at the upcoming E3.
