15 R3, backlight issue

Where to enable this setting.

Because everything worked before reinstalling windows.

And in the latest version, I downloaded it now, even there is no FX.

Hi @CEBEP163  unfortunately my Alienware 17 R5 arrived out of the box with no working AlienFX Lighting Control, so I have reached the limit of my assistance.

Hi @CEBEP163  all of the AlienFX LED lighting is controlled by options within Alienware Command Center for Notebooks (AWCC) AlienFX Lighting Control. If lid logo LED has stopped working, check that this option is not turned off within AWCC AlienFX. It is possible that this LED has failed or its cable has been detached, and you may consider not to get hardware repair. 

And in the latest version there is no doge FX, now downloaded and installed.

I have a different version of awcc. There are no such functions. Which one is shown in the video?

I've made a big mistake in linking the drivers to your laptop because they're the wrong version!

For this issue I'd highly recommend you install the older version of AW command center if possible because many users have been complaining about how the new one disables lights or flat out not shows them the option to.

For this issue I highly recommend running these commands to see if its a windows issue.

sfc /scannow

chkdsk /r

chkdsk /f

Then is there any repair shop near you? This is a issue that can be fixed by yourself if needed but you need to know what to do.
