17 R2, upgrade ram, GPU?
Hello,
I bought Alienware 17 R2 in 2014 and I want to upgrade it's ram and gpu too. My question is can the laptop accept these upgrades? And if it is possible, are there any specific parts that are suitable for my laptop in order to buy the right ones?

@Mrst92 the ram in the 17R3 can be upgraded to 32 GB. There is reports on 64 GB also, like here: https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware/17-R3-64GB-or-128GB-ram-upgrade/m-p/7553395#M28509
I own the 17R3 and bought it with the highest ram-spec (32GB).
As for the GPU, you can buy the Graphic AMP and put a desktop GPU in ut.

After some research I found finally that I have R2 not R3. Can I still do the upgrades the same way as you described?
