That is interesting.

If it were me, I would just uninstall and reinstall the Alienware Command Center. It would probably be easier than trying to troubleshoot it from the .Net side.

If the error persists, you can see if Windows Update shows a pending .Net update, or if the problem started when the latest .Net update was pushed out by Windows Update a couple of days ago. If it started with the latest .Net quality update, you can rollback the update.

Do you have alienware hardware installed and the lighting is not working properly? If so, maybe check for a driver update for your mouse / keyboard.

Or check for corrupted files with the system file checker command (SFC) command scannow

Install DOT NET 3.5 SP1 full version while online

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150

then run SFC / Scannow

It may already be too late.

How to Run SFC Scannow (SFC.exe)

  1. First, you’ll need to boot into your computer with administrative privileges (as I already discussed).
  2. Once Windows logs in, press + R, type cmd then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt as Administrator. ...
  3. When Command Prompt loads up, type the following commands
  4. sfc /scannow
  5. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
