Yes, unfortunately, this problem occurs when the RAM is in the device, but when the RAM is not in the device, it turns on, beeps for a long time and restarts.
Hi @mobin_mo the BIOS boot list option UEFI is used by a drive with the new GPT format partition. If your drive has the old MBR format partition, do not enable UEFI.
Hey so I would recommend you disconnect the CMOS battery and main battery from the computer and remove all the ram in the system. Then hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then plug the CMOS battery back in and the Main battery, then place one stick back inside the system. Also what are the things that happened in your laptop? Did it still show the Alienware logo then shut off or just stay in a black screen? I would recommend staying away from overclocking settings too as that is usually messed with people that know what they need to do.
Hi @mobin_mo POST will not complete if RAM is not detected. Please reseat your RAM cards. If two RAM cards, put in only one at a time, to determine which RAM card does not work.
3 pieces of ram. But I think there is a problem with the BIOS that does not recognize the RAM because when the RAM inside the laptop turns on every 5 seconds without turning on the screen
Hi @mobin_mo please check that RAM cards are suitable. The Alienware 18 motherboard has 4 (2 banks of 2) RAM card slots, and these slots will only accept SODIMM Dual-channel DDR3L RAM cards.
Im happy you got the issue fixed! but why did the CMOS Battery die as soon as it stopped turning off? kinda weird but if anything else happens just let me or crimsom know. Also please stay away from overclocks especially if they have anything to do with the RAM or CPU. Just edit the multiplier and you'll be safe.

H @mobin_mo
5 beeps = Real Time Clock Power Failure = CMOS battery failure = Install new $10 coin cell battery DP/N 44YK6 or C8KT2.

Where exactly should I put the wood? No, it does not show the alienware logo, but it turns on and off again continuously for 5 seconds

Yes, they are quite suitable, but as long as the RAM is in the device, it only turns on and off periodically for 5 seconds.

Hi @mobin_mo thank you for sharing update. That does not mean that the RAM cards have a fault. Something is not allowing POST to finish its hardware tests. Resolve No Power, No POST, No Boot or No Video issues with your Dell Computer | Dell US

Hi @crimsom, I'm happy because it did not turn off now, but 5 beeps. What does that mean?
