Alienware 17 R4

My 17 R4 is under warranty. I had a problem in Early December 2021. I contacted Dell. After many back and forths, Dell offered to send me a new system. The Alienware x17 R1. I accepted the offer. Now after three delays I find out that the system offered, as specced, will never be delivered because it has an RTX3060 GPU. As per the Dell site and Amazon.com.

So are they going to keep stringing me along or what's going to happen?

I made a mistake with the GPU I originally posted. I was going to send the entire chart but that email is now gone. I have printed it though.

 

Anyhow, No, it is a 17 R4, I kept the warranty up.

The Alienware 17 R1's GPU can be GeForce RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080. Not sure what you are being told or offered as a new replacement. Dell are obligated to provide the next upgrade if the new replacement is not available. It would be advantageous if Dell updated your online Dell account with what is being offered as a new replacement. Please contact Dell and request clarification. The best method is to update or create new Service Request within your online account, so that it can be escalated to senior Dell tier that can authorise delivery of the new Alienware 17 R1 replacement.

BTW, I have been trying to get a clarification. I have sent emails to the person dealing with my account and received nothing in return. I have talked to someone directly online and it took forever for them to say that there is a part they couldn't get. OK, how about changing the machine to something else.
