I did fix mine.. revert to the older version of the AWCC. Uninstall the latest version using Revo Uninstaller.. It will be fixed. also note that if your using a Internet Security provider sometimes it affects also when installing the OC controls so you can pause it  for a while fixing the AWCC.. that's it..

Are you removing the original before updating ?

I've just had an E-mail telling me there is an update for my Area51m R2 and this is part of the E-mail

You must uninstall the previous version of Alienware OC Controls before installing this version.
- The Alienware Command Center application must be installed before installing Alienware Overclocking Controls.
- For Alienware Aurora R12, you must install BIOS version 1.0.3 or later to enable overclocking.

I've not installed the update yet, but thought I would mention it.

twinterton51,

Our users could provide more assistance if you would tell all what specific Alienware laptop model you have there.

It did say that one of the messages said to uninstall OC controls before installing the New one. Try it out and let us know how it goes.

Hi @twinterton51  Dell has published "How to Remove and Reinstall the Alienware Command Center" Version 5, Dated 11 May 2021. Please use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove application and then use Revo's Advanced Scanning Mode to remove all the remaining multiple files, folders, and/or Registry entries left on your system. Then follow the remaining instructions in this Dell Knowledge Base Article. Restart (not Shut Down) to save these changes to the operating system.

Please select the older AWCC version, as delivered on your system from factory, and install this AWCC as if for the first time, AWCC will automatically install and integrate OC Controls so that the AWCC Fusion tab works. The Dell AWCC application is not standalone and cannot cope with updates to the Windows 10 operating system. When AWCC function fully restored, resist temptation to update.
