Alienware Power Button Won't Work
So basically I try and turn my Alienware M17 on and when I do, I notice the power button is pressed deeper in the laptop than before. I think the switch underneath it may not be getting any input from the power button because of its new position. Unplugging and plugging gives no reaction.

Called a contact, held power button down while unplugged and now works fine.

Has your new m17 R? just been delivered? Contact Dell Order Support to reject and request a new replacement.
If your new m17 R?, is more that 30 days old, your first year warranty has started. Contact Dell Product Support to raise a fault ticket, so that it can be repaired under warranty.
