Area-51m R1, AWCC the CPU overclocking tab missing
I am unable to see the CPU advanced view in the Alienware Command Center Fusion tab. I have tried to completely remove command center and reinstall with the newest version per these directions.
It will still not allow me to see the advanced view. Any input on how i can fix this issue?
System Model Alienware Area-51m R1
Processor Intel Core i9-9900KS

Hello I found a solution to this for my Windows 11 Alienware Area 51m. Check under Windows Security/Device Security/Core Isolation. If Core Isolation is on the overclocking will be disabled. Once I turned Core Isolation off and rebooted all the overclocking tabs were present. I hope this works for you.

@Maple17 @DLG_QWE @l-Ladreik-l if youre only seeing the GPU on the fusion tab, its likely that virtualization based security is the issue. all you have to do is hit WIN+R and type msinfo32 and look through the list to see if virtualization based security is running. if it is running then hit the magnifying glass in the start menu and search for "turn windows features on or off" then look for "Virtual machine platform" and "windows hypervisor platform" in the list and make sure they are both UNCHECKED and hit OK. then go back to the magnifying glass and this time type Core isolation and click it and make sure the memory integrity setting is OFF. then restart your system.
these windows settings are known to directly interfere with AWCC.

I have the same issue. I ordered my A51m R1 with an i7 9700 processor. When I replaced it with an i9 9900KF, I couldn't find this feature. I completly reinstalled the windows, Dell replaced my motherboard and nothing changed. Dell technician couldn't have more idea, but I need this because the i9 needs a fine tune if I want to avoid the overheating issues.

Hi @greenlief having changed the basic configuration of your system, please get Dell to update your service tag so that the correct Dell Drivers & Downloads are provided, in the interim remember to click on [Detect Divers].

Hello @crimsom So they need to update the service tag? Different service tags gets different versions of AWCC? Hm, this is new for me. Next week I will try it, thanks. But it is strange that when I discussed earlier with a Dell technician he didn't mentioned this.

The issue may be with the "F" CPU. These ship with the 9700K and 9900K CPUs, but not the "F" versions.
Are you certain Dell supports the F processors?

Well, I found 3Dmark scores on the net with this cpu so I am sure it is compatible (and of course it works well in my machine too except AWCC advanced menu). I tried to find some compatibility list on the net for this laptop but the result is nothing.
Earlier I had a 8700k with the same issue. Dell couldn't help me out.

Hi @greenlief thank you for your update. Evidently you know all about your no AWCC advanced menu problems when using 8700k and/or 9900KF CPUs. Looking at About greenlief, you have not posted a thread on Dell Community user to user forum to ask for help.

Hi @l-Ladreik-l unable to overclock 9900KS CPUs within Area-51m systems is discussed in thread Area-51m, XMP profile, 9900KS.

@crimsom I contacted directly with Dell support in this case. Those times I didn't know this forum. This was the most useful answer from him:

Hi @greenlief thank you for sharing your Dell Support answer, which speculated that update of Service Tag might be the solution. Did you have a look at thread Area-51m, XMP profile, 9900KS and the many posts requesting a Dell BIOS/UEFI update?
Postulate XPS profile has never been activated in BIOS/UEFI updates, and the requested provision of the AWCC Fusion's overclocking tab was never fixed.

@crimsom I saw them yesterday. Dell's bios is really . When I set up my cpu clock in the bios, it works until the first restart. After that, the performance setting reverts to disabled and gets gray, unable to adjust anymore, until I make a reset to default in the bios. And I have 3000 MHz memory sticks and yes, they are only work at 2400 MHz.
I think I will buy a non-K i9 9900, make a delid and use it. I don't have much time for this . Later, I will sell my machine and buy something else that's not so .

Hi @greenlief have you looked at what Silicon Lottery offers. They delid processors to replace the thermal paste inside CPUs with liquid metal Thermal Grizzly Condoctonaut. They individually rank every delid CPU because their overclocking capability is different. They also claim deliding reduces operating temperatures by 15-25°C, depending on the workload. The liquid metal's improved thermal transfer material allows for more aggressive overclocking. However, Silicon Lottery sell these delided processors at a premium price and with only a one-year warranty (rather than the standard three-year warranty). With careful selection it might be possible to trick the Dell BIOS/UEFI into switching on all of the AWCC Fusion's CPU overclocking features.

I have the exact same issue on my area 51m ( 9700k 2070)
After getting Windows 11, I had to delete and reinstall AWCC, as it would not allow fan speed adjustment ( the whirling clock over the fan speeds in AWCC)
I deleted all, via the info, Found new AWCC (released on the 24th) and OC control, (same release date)
Now AWCC works and shows all except CPU OC View, section only shows GPU.
So what am I missing, seems like there is an update I don't have
AWCC check
OC control check

No update to W11 on my side, but it seems the last update of AWCC (that is forced, we don't have the choice) did, in fact, remove the CPU tab concerning overclocking.
Uninstalled (and cleaned) then reinstalled everything with the last version, same result.
Could Dell provides us some information about that?
