Area-51m R2, USB-C not working

I tried the Inspiron solution here and it failed with a fatal error. Probably because the Area-51m R2 USB-C port is not working. Also, the same problem with the USB-C port not working occurred in November 2021. Just like the Inspiron thread, Dell replaced the motherboard and everything worked, until now. The USB-C port was working just fine this morning and then just went dead. Dell diagnostics are worthless because they say everything is fine. But I test the port with a USB-C Lightning cable and there is NO power from the port. Of course, my Area-51m R2 is out of warranty 6 months ago. How convenient for them but definitely not for me!
