Keyboard issues
Wonder why the other thread was closed when the issue was not resolved? Anyway I did the HID driver and it fixed it for me again. Still this is unacceptable that this issue has been around for nearly 3 years and Dell has not resolved it permanently. Just when I think it is good it will break again. Just to be clear I downloaded the Intel-HID-Event-Filter-Driver_V2HFM_WIN_2.2.1.384_A16_08 driver and it did fix it again. We will see for how long. I get that hardware issues are hard to fix after the release of the hardware but this is clearly a software issue. It should be passable for a real fix. I understand your feeling, the same with me, and Im very regret that I spend more than 3k usd for a worse Dell alienware laptop.
I've met the problem with the keyboard only 2 months since the first day I got it, the laptop brought from US to VIetnam (since in VIetnam, we can't buy Dell x15r2), I belived that this laptop have premium support, and as Dell said its international warranty, thats why I buy it from US and use it in Vietnam, but when the problem appear, US and Vietnam support deny the responsibility, none of side help me about this, if so why Dell create what call" international support"? just the liar.
and I have to stand with this problem from 2-2022 till now, the keyboard now stop working, no driver or fimware update from Dell to fix this, and I see many many people met this problem like me and you, and Dell still be silent. its the worst company I know, never want to spend a cent for this brand
