m15 R2, flickering black screen with glitch

Question

Hi, if anyone knows what's going on?

My laptop monitor suddenly became black in the middle of use. Than when I move my mouse, it responds but half bottom of screen is black, and right side has a pink semi transparent block, covering 30% of it. Than I didn't know what to do? I couldn't switch it off because I couldn't see half of the screen as this happened.

I managed to restart it, now it won't start, it had beeping sounds. The next day, I turned it on, it went to SupportAssist and half of the page is black, but I can see half and it's fully functional, as if the screen shrunk into half of the monitor. I scan software or hardware changes, I did not reset or back up anything.

Now when I try turning it on, keyboard lights up, everything looks OK, but the screen is black, but it goes on off black screen, and if I move my mouse, it flickers on off black screen with the pink like glitch on the right side that takes 30% of the screen, same as before. It won't start up, it won't load Into anything else. I don't know if it loaded, or not loaded, I can't see the screen. I don know what to do?

Please use HDMI to connect Alienware m15 R2 to external TV or monitor, is screen image correct?

Please run the LCD BIST to See if the Video Distortion Issue is Present. How to Troubleshoot Display or Video Issues on a Dell Laptop | Dell US.

Hello

I did try the steps. The beeps where 5 5 5 3 2 1. I'm not sure what the LCD lights signs were.

I couldn't get to the other steps, because the beeping run in loops, it's all black screen. My keyboard does have the rainbow, when it turns on. Caps lock blinking.

Sorry, i had to leave my home for a while couldn't reply. I hard rest, and i connected the HDMI cable, everything seems to be fine, except the laptop screen wont display, its just black and stuttering. The beeping only happens when i turn on my laptop with the charger connected.

1. hard reset work, it would load, but only half a screen is show the alienware logo, then dark, with glithich or stuttering white patch on the right side.

2. HDMI work, i can see everything as it works on a TV monitor.

3. cant start when charger is connected. when charger is disconnected it can start.

Well Screen flickering in Windows is mostly caused by display drivers issue or outdated display driver. To update your display driver, you  need to start your PC in safe mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates

hello

It says to do this, i have to restart in safe mode. My laptop screen isn't working, so, will rebooting to safe mode, will still display on the tv monitor. I have a HDMI connected to a tv monitor now.

Because if i restart in safe mode, and my HDMI wont work, i wont be able to see anything and ill be in safe mode.
