m15 R6, cannot set keyboard backlight timeout
I just bought this laptop (Alienware m15 R6) and surprisingly found that it doesn't have keyboard backlight timeout settings?
There are so many Dell branded laptops which support this feature, including some Alienware series, however I cannot find any related settings on my laptop in either AWCC app or System BIOS settings. It seems that I can only set the keyboard light off manually, or when Windows sleeps. That's strange. Typically, a laptop should have settings that can turn keyboard light off in 10 or 30 seconds. I did BIOS update and Windows Update but both don't help. Please help, thanks!
My keyboard is 4 zone RGB keyboard, not the cherry one. BIOS 1.9.1 =

Hi @Jack1st welcome to the user yo user Alienware Laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
There are many different versions of AWCC. The fn + f12 key combination should toggle AlienFX off and on.

And I've already chatted with Dell Support earlier, but they don't know either.

Yes, Fn shortcut is able to turn keyboard off. However, this is not INACTIVE TIMEOUT, but MANUALLY.

There have been three BIOS updates since 1.9.1. Install them one at a time. Then enter BIOS- Keyboard and check for lighting options.
