m15 R6, Core Isolation Memory Integrity error

Just got the latest software installed on my r6 and was fiddling with the command center when I realized that my overclocking and monitoring software is not working (not that I need the overclock because r6 has automatic overclocking) but the monitoring is important. I have seen some similar issues posted here but the cause is different. Im running windows 11 by the way.

In the note it says:

INCOMPATIBLE SOFTWARE DETECTED:

The current operating system or other software application has blocked monitoring or overclocking functions on this device. In order to access monitoring and overclocking function, please disable this feature to access monitoring or overclocking functions

-core isolation memory integrity

Core Isolation Memory Integrity as per reading, is a new software installed by windows to prevent attacks to the device core by isolating threats to a virtual space, like a customs agent if you will, checks it and when its all good, clears it so that windows can use it, whatever it may be. So disabling this application renders my PC vulnerable to potential threats and is unwise to do so, however, If I disable this feature, I can have access to the overclock and monitoring app in the command center.

My laptop currently has all the drivers updated so I have no idea why there is a compatibility issue. Maybe this is something dell needs to look into seeing that CIMI was only introduced by windows less than a year ago.

Or if somebody has a similar issue to mine and resolved it, please let me know how you did it. It will be greatly appreciated.

    "turning off core isolation memory integrity is not the answer"
    Currently, that is the only workaround.

    Change Windows Security--> Core Isolation--> Memory Integrity to Off

    Hi @GMPurEvil welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

    This may help: Enable or Disable Core Isolation and Memory Integrity in Windows 11/10 (thewindowsclub.com), There are many Core Isolation Memory Integrity videos on YouTube. Not sure about AWCC version fix on your specific desktop or laptop system.

    What needs to be done is AilenW and Microsoft need to hot fix Fusion in Command Center so Core Isolation and Fusion work together.  At the moment it's one or the other.

    Hmm, so I guess there is no fix at the moment in this regard until they do some updating then.

    I spoke to Dell and they are fully aware of compatibility bwt AWCC and Memory Integrity.  They are working on a solution as many users need Memory Integrity enabled.  So far just an inconvenience having to toggle Memory Integrity on/off when working on some applications..

    how is this solved ? turning off core isolation memory integrity is not the answer and not being able to monitor our systems is the other issue if you do shut it off . this machine was bought with windows 11 by default so saying w 11 is experimental and may or may not work with the control center is on dell . this is happening with 2 machines of mine

    I have the exact same problem. I tried uninstalling MSI Afterburner and it still doesnt show anything about the CPU in the FUSION tab the only way to monitor it is by disabling from windows defender the core isolation... I have a Dell G7 17 7700 gaming laptop...

    Our Alienware Command Center (AWCC) uses Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (IXTU) components for overclocking.

    The September 19, 2022 IXTU 7.9.0.24 release notes stated =

    IXTU.JPG

    Until this is fixed by Intel, Microsoft, and Dell, use the workaround below =

    * Open Windows Security--> Core Isolation--> Memory Integrity
    * Set to Off
    * Press Windows key
    * Click Search
    * Type turn windows features off
    * Uncheck the following. When done restart the PC =
    Hyper-V and all sub-components
    Virtual Machine Platform
    Windows Hypervisor Platform
