m16 R1, NVMe SSD not recognized on restart

Question

I just added a Crucial 2TB 705 2280 SSD to Slot 1 of my M16R1.  The computer has issues recognizing the new SSD on restart.  If I do a full shutdown and wait approx 5-6 minutes before starting the laptop, it recognizes it fine.  I don't have any issues during operation if I leave my laptop running.  In other words, during use, it never loses the connection.  Just on startup after a restart.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I've already tried re-seating the SSD drive and it is definitely well seated in the connector.

Anyone else with this issue?  I'm about to reach out to Alienware support.  Having to wait 5 minutes every time I reboot the laptop is getting pretty frustrating, especially when an update requires a reboot.
