m17 R1, Problems
I have had this problem for 2 years already DELL. It's not funny. I pay 3,500 AUD for my Alienware m17 R1 and I have to tolerate popup Support Assist every 2 days. The FANS running at full speed after testing and I have to restarted my laptop 3times to get to normal. I am really sad. Support does not resolve this issues. they told me "wait for new BIOS update" when warranty has expired the answer was "your laptop is not under warranty"?

Hi @TimoStudio welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
First tier Dell Product Support behaviour gives Dell a poor reputation. Unfortunately, Dell call takers are required to read from the prepared response list, and have no authority to be helpful. Be proactive when in warranty, open your Dell account, contact Dell Support and request that they create a fault ticket, so that Dell knows that there is a problem to fix. No fault ticket, no Dell fix. "This is the way" says the Mandalorian.
Dell Support for Alienware m17 Drivers & Downloads provides BIOS updates, and users have the option to manually update. It is essential to follow the official BIOS update process, so that your system is not bricked.
Update the troublesome Dell SupportAssist application. It provides the Dell ePSA Diagnostics and other support functions. Consider visiting BIOS settings to enable the other support options that are available.
Run Check Disk to find and fix any file errors on the OS(C:) drive.
