Monitor resolution help!

My pc was working fine, and one day i thought of changing resolution lower to recommended( just for fun) , and when I set the resolution it immediately shifted the monitor screen to the right and when I try to adjust it to recommended resolution , it just moved a little bit left and nothing else! Now I am stuck with this , i can't us my monitor because of this! I even changed the cpu to other cpu but it is same! Seems like my monitor has got some memory and it is not reverting back to original full screen ! I tried the buttons on Monitor and opened its control panel and i factory reset the monitor but it just got little bit more left side but there is 1/3 resolution left! Help anyone!
