Hi @Tonyroncola   it would help if you share what system you have. If the SSD + HDD drives are the original drives, your OS (C:) 128GB drive is probably a slow SATA. You should clone your OS (C:) to a fast NVMe drive of 1TB capacity. Go to Dell documentation and manuals for your system to find which PCIe interface is supported by the M.2 socket. If it says interface supports up to M.2 PCIe Gen3x4, then the M.2 2280 SSD in your link is suitable. You have not shared what you use your system for, so look at online reviews and get the NVMe drive that is a match to your user requirement, e.g. ultra fast gaming, etc. Check that the free cloning application also included with your new NVMe drive. There may also be a free diagnostic application that tells you the status of your drives and predicts the NVMe drive's lifespan.

We'll need the system model to advise you.

And if it's the OS drive that's filling up, you are probably better off replacing it with a larger capacity one, and using the 128 for storage -- you will keep filling up a 128G Windows drive unless you're very vigilant about installing new software (and even when you install it elsewhere, it will still install components into both the root Windows folder and elsewhere on that drive).

I would recommend getting 512Gb as I've got a 512Gb NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD with speeds up to 3,000Mbps and it only cost me $53 with a 5 year warranty and a Free disk cloning software.

Here's the link if you want it:
