x14, not fully turning on

I have an Alienware x14 laptop. It randomly shut off yesterday and the screen stays black while the keyboard still lights up. After about a minute the power button flashes 2 red, 7 blue which I read is a BIOS issue and when I looked up how to fix it, it told me to first try connecting to an external monitor. So I connected it via HDMI to my TV and at first it worked and I saw that there was some sort of repair update in my settings, so I started to install it but then my laptop died and after I charged it I went to connect it back to the TV and it no longer displayed the screen. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix it myself or if it's something I would have to take it into a shop for?
