x17 R1, screen blinking
My 1 year old Alienware x17 R1 screen is started blinking. My warranty was already expired last couple months ago. After researching on the internet threads, I uninstall the onboard video card driver and leave the RTX 3070 still on. It's stop the blinking but I can't play games like ''Tom Clancy's Division 2'' and ''Red Dead 2'' smoothly as before ever since. The game were so glitching and even I had lower all the in-game video setting but still can't play the game.
When I tried to re-install the driver, it's started blinking again. If everyone have the same issue and knows the solution, I would like to know what's your solution and any advice would be welcome.
With respect

Hi @Liam Pie welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Please download and install the GeForce Experience application to check for driver updates for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU-Discrete option.
Please download and install Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to identify your products and get driver and software updates for most of your Intel hardware.

Screen flickering in Windows is usually caused by display drivers issue . So I will suggest you to update your display driver, you'll need to start your PC in safe mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates or you can use good driver updater utility tool that can help you in updating the outdated driver to it latest version you can try Advanced Driver updater or any other good driver updater utility software to updated your driver automatically.

First of all thank you for your time and support. I really was so frustrated for can't find the solution. After I read your reply and download the Intel support assist and the computer asked me to restart to complete the installation.
And the magic happens, everything was back to normal as I'm writing this. I didn't even know the installation is complete or not but my Alienware is good as new, I hope it won't crash again in next upgrades.
Thank you

Appreciate for your suggestion, I've tried so many different ways including uninstalling and installing drivers as you said. Nothing was working, but as I'm replying this everything was back to normal out of the blue. I didn't even do anything LOL. Again, thank you for your help.
