Cannot remove a server from Appsync

I am trying to deinstall the plug-in and remove a server from Appsync. When I have to set the username and password to start this deinstall I am using the same username and password I used to discover this server on Appsync. In the progress box it says Verifying Host plug-in can be removed, but will not go any further in this process. I try to remove the server only but I get an Error: 500, Conversion= '.' message. Is there another way I can remove this server from Appsync?

What OS, Unix or Windows?

You can click Remove > Remove Server Only and then manually remove the software on the host. This will allow you to remove it from AppSync, and not receive that error.

You can manually remove the plug-in through Windows Add/Remove programs, and on Unix, simply removing the directory (no daemon runs on Unix).

It is a Unix server. I did find out that if a database is subscribed to a service plan you cannot remove that server the database is mounted on. I unsubscribed the service plan from that database and was able to remove the server from Appsync. Thanks for you response and I will make note of your recommendations for any possible future issues.
