Atmos Compute - Compatible VM Image creator/converter

Hi

Tried Vmware workstation version 7 and another free version of Vmware for Win/XP to create images. The Uploaded images cannot be deployed as the deploy option command gives error "bad VM image, VM configuration format is invalid".  I also have downloaded the converter for vcenter v4.0 - but as there are so many options possible to create VMs and the whole process of creatign VM, making it ready for upload [ 50mb chunking utility from atmos tools] and of course waiting for more than 15 minutes to get the error message during DEPLOY, would like to have a comprehensive matrix of VMWARE image creation tools that are supported in the Atmos Compute cloud. It would be useful to those who do not want to keep trying this many times over.
