Avamar - Mac OS X clients and their cache files

On a Mac OS X 10.4 Xserve, we're getting the following error message

"Process datasize limit of 6 MB is less than recommended minimum of 96 MB"

I'm also getting the following warning messages

CAPACITY WARNING: The file cache is full; filecachemax=1MB

I've found some mention of increasing cache files with the windows client by adjusting the .CMD file (for instance, here : https://solutions.emc.com/nsepn/webapps/stqv768481dmts46655278/emcsolutionview.asp?id=esg94307 and here https://solutions.emc.com/nsepn/webapps/stqv768481dmts46655278/emcsolutionview.asp?id=esg94718 ). However, I haven't come across the equivalent instructions for Mac OS X. Has anyone ever had to change this themselves?

Thanks,

Bill V.
