Avamar Recomendations
We have 2 avamar grids set in two sites to replicate. We have a Vcenter with two clusters. One cluster is local to one avamar and the second cluster is local to the second avamar grid. I am wanting to back up the VM's on the second grid. Do you load the proxy's to the second grid or the first grid. The first grid is our Primary and the Vcenter is already registered to it. Would it cause issues if one vcenter is registered to two Avamar Grids?
Any help would be appreciated.

Doing image level backups wont cause a problem with vCenter registered to two Avamar grids. Load the proxy's onto the Grid that will be performing the image level backups. Are you going to be running agent based and image level backups of the second cluster?
