We recently upgrade vmware to 5.1 after the upgrade we are not able to restore a VM to a new Vm or an existing VM. Our avamar is running 6.1.0.402. Is there any hotfix available for this.
That error suggests the connections to vcenter are not running. Have you checked in MCS under Administration - Services Adinistration tab that the connections to your vCenter are OK? The connections can be restarted from here which may resolve the problem.
If the vCenter changed names or the account used to connect Avamar to vCenter changed you may need to re-connect vCenter to Avamar.
