Change default gateway on Gen3 nodes

I need to change the default gateway on Gen3 nodes running Avamar 7.1.  The current IP addresses and hostnames will be retained.  Technical Note 300-007-539 is the only documentation I can find that seems applicable.  But most of the documentation relates to changing IP's and hostnames, which is not necessary in this situation.  Filtering out most of the steps in Technical Note 300-007-539 I believe the steps below will accomplish the task of changing the default gateway:

1)  dpnctl stop

2)  change the default gateway defined in /etc/sysconfig/network on each node

3)  reboot all nodes

4)  dpnctl start

Would  this be the correct procedure to change the default gateway only?

I think so correct, changing ADS 7.x DG address.

ADS GEN3 & GEN4 (to change the Default Gateway file By Linux OS type)

1) dpnctl stop (for safety)

2) change the default gateway IP defined in /etc/sysconfig/network/routes on each node

3) "reboot all nodes" or "reboot all nodes network service restart"

4) dpnctl start
