Does Instant Access require AvamarProxy Server?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't but Just want confirmation because it's a select-able option when you do an vm instant access. I've been testing vm instant access and it's great but I just wanted to make sure that a proxy server wasn't required. I leave "Optionally Select a proxy to perform restore" as automatic but never see in vsphere tasks that one gets used during that process.

Instant Access is driven by the Avamar Administrator Server on the Avamar utility node (or single node server). No proxy is required.

The proxies are not used for IA, I us IA to restore most VMs, because for a full vm restore, its faster than the Proxy Restore most of the time.
