Windows 2008 SP2 isn't supported yet. Support is expected in Q2 but you can monitor the Avamar compatibility matrix in Powerlink for updates

As Mentioned back Nick we do not support Windows Server 2008 SP2, but just to give you and brief information about the issue.
Microsoft has changed the s3cap.sys to vms3cap.sys and storflt.sys to vmstorfl.sys in SP2
As a workaroud I'll suggest you to copy those files to the same location and rename them with the old names and that will work fine.
Microsoft is still working on the issue as VSS is refering to the old names instead of new.
