You can find the most current Avamar Compatibility and Interoperability Matrix here:

Gen2 hardware does not support Avamar 7. Avamar 6.1 is the last version of the software that supports Gen2 hardware.
Also note that Gen2 hardware reached end of service life on December 31, 2013.

Gen2 does not support Avamar 7. You need to use Aavmar 6.1 if you still want to use Gen2.
