NBD backup using Avamar

Hi,

I want to backup two VCenters.

VCenter1 is in Country1 and VCenter2 is in Country2

VCenter1 has 10 proxys and backups VMs using Hotadd without problems.

I have deployed a new Proxy in the VCenter1 to be used to backup VMs in the VCenter2 using NBD transport.

So the VCenter2 has no conection to the Data Domain in the Country1.

Can this be done?

In documentation has the option to be backup using NBD but I'm not sure if this info is just for the same VCenter and different ESX with different SAN access or for two differents VCenters.
